Ronnie's legal areas of practice include environmental, administrative, contract, construction, utility, municipal, real estate, and public law. His prior work experience includes service as an Associate Attorney at Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C., Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Texas Attorney General, Assistant City Attorney, in the Law Department of the City of Austin, Texas and as a staff attorney in the Legal Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. His essential job functions included representing the State of Texas and Texas state agencies in administrative and environmental matters, and real property matters, in Texas state courts, providing legal advice to state and local government officials on administrative and environmental matters, and the acquisition and disposition of real and personal property, and negotiating and drafting requests for proposals and contracts for state and local governmental entities for various types of goods and services.
Ronnie is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas in the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section. He is also a member of the Austin Bar Association, the CLE Committee of ABA, Austin Chamber's 2005 Select Community Progress Report Task Force, and the City of Austin Water and Wastewater Commission. Ronnie was recently appointed to the Corporate Citizens Panel at the City of Austin's Quality of Life Forum. He was featured in the Austin Business Journal's article entitled "Shades of Gray: Black business professionals grapple with population loss, disconnected community" (PDF) as one of the leading African American business professionals in the city of Austin. |
